Cyclone Seroja weakens after wreaking havoc along Western Australia coast

Storm downgraded to a tropical low after leaving trail of damage and homes without power in Kalbarri and Geraldton

Tropical Cyclone Seroja, which slammed into the coast of Western Australia and tore through townships on Sunday night, has left a trail of damage and power outages.

Seroja made landfall south of Kalbarri about 8pm on Sunday as a category three storm with wind gusts up to 170km/h.
