New Zealand Covid outbreak spreads to Wellington as national cases grow to 31

Jacinda Ardern says there are still missing links between first case in cluster and current outbreak

New Zealand’s coronavirus cluster has grown to 31, with three cases now confirmed in Wellington, as the country waits to hear if the nationwide lockdown will be extended.

On Friday, New Zealand reported another 11 new cases of the Delta variant in the community. The cases in Wellington recently travelled to Auckland and visited a location of interest there.
